OBJECTIVE
In association with the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Canada, ROYTEC offers a structured Associate of Science Degree in Management programme leading to the UNB Bachelor of Business Administration.

This programme was developed to meet the needs of those individuals with business, government or industry experience who wish to upgrade their skills in the functional areas of business administration. Additionally, it allows the student to acquire a full range of skills necessary for a career in the entrepreneurial and increasingly globalised, technology-oriented world of business.

OVERALL AIM
Successful graduates of the BBA Degree programme should acquire:

1. A comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of business management,
2. A keen awareness of the economic, social and governmental frameworks within which business operates,
3. Important techniques to analyze situations that call for action or decision making, and
4. An intimate understanding of underlying theory and philosophy of business.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The BBA Degree is offered on a part-time and full-time basis and consists of forty-one (41) courses with a total of one hundred and twenty-nine credit hours.

Overall, the part-time programme is completed over a period of four (4) years and the full-time programme over three (3) years.

The first twenty-one courses are delivered by ROYTEC under UNB supervision. In the part-time programme this takes approximately two (2) years to complete while in the full-time programme these twenty-one (21) courses are complete in one and one-half years.

The second half of the programme - another twenty (20) courses - is managed by UNB with ROYTEC administartion. Courses are delivered by a mixed faculty of local lecturers and University of New Brunswick professors. Students have the option of completing these courses in Trinidad or New Brunswick, Canada.

On successful completion of:

	21 courses (69 credit hours) - A ROYTEC Associate of Science Degree in Management is awarded.
	41 courses (129 credit hours) - A UNB Bachelor of Business Administration Degree is awarded.

ADMISSION/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A minimun of five CXC Passes, Grades I, II or III (General Proficiency) or five GCE O' Level Grades A, B or C (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
